Thermo-Tec’s Cool-It Mat, your ultimate solution to combat excessive heat and noise infiltrating the driver compartment, firewall, floorboards, doors, hoods, and transmission housings of your vehicle.
The Cool-It Mat features a composition of resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation nestled between a reflective FSK (Foil Skrim Kraft) facing on one side and a foil facing on the other. The highly-reflective FSK works as a vapor and radiant barrier, while the foil side conducts penetrating heat across its surface, offering optimal heat protection.
The silica blanketing, a dual-density composite, serves as the primary sound insulator, effectively reducing noise for a quieter driving experience. Trim with ease and apply using the push-in fasteners provided or any weather strip adhesive for seamless installation.
Available in three convenient sizes, including a 50-foot roll, the Cool-It Mat boasts a thickness of about 1/2 inch, ensuring comprehensive heat and noise protection wherever it’s applied.
